Water Tank Instruments

Aqua Volume This unit displays the contents of a water storage tank via a continuous LCD display readout. This is done in percentage full terms showing % currently in tank based on initial setting when tank is full. It has a combined high and low alarm function which can be fitted to a BMS system or to a warning device such as strobe light or klaxon.

Aqua Level This unit was developed specifically to help compliance with The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, which states:- Part II Requirements Secion 3 (I) No water fitting shall be installed, connected, arranged or used which by reason of being damaged, worn or otherwise faulty, causes or is likely to cause - waste, misuse or undue consumption…… Section R16.8 Recommendations Cisterns with an actual capacity in excess of 5000 litres…….a warning pipe may be omitted but a level indicator should be provided with an audible or visual alarm, which operates when the water reaches 25mm below the invert of the overflow. The Aqua Level is fitted to a tank and should the water level raise to the critical level set for whatever reason, can provide an alarm via strobe light, klaxon or BMS connection..
